This is a un-annoying non-gas using safety device. Why cut a perfectly good wiring harness? Heck you dont even notice them when your driving? As a habit from when I dorve a truck I drive my 74′ Opel Manta with its headlights on all the time for safety reasons. I can think of at least 3 times it has helped avoid a accident in the morning when the sun was to the bakc of my car and I almost had someone cut in front of me. Also the dealer cant touch it its a safety device and they cant remove it. Charles Goin President, Mid-Atlantic Opel Association An Chapter of the North American Opel Asso. http://www.opel-na.com ..

Not likely to be tied into a computer – just a relay and the charging system/ignition switch. It would be very easy if you knew A) where the relay was, or B) where in the wiring harness the power-lead to the relay was. Without that, it will be a  bear.
